Are you putting your 944 away for the winter? If the anwser is yes,then NOW is the time to let us do a tune up on your transmission!


What does the tune up consist of?

We replace the following in your transmission,4 new mainshaft bearings,2 new pinion shaft bearings,2new differential bearings,all 5 synchroniser rings new,2 new differential seals,a new front main seal,a new rear plug and new gaskets.

How the tune up works?

You remove your transmission and either ship it to us (at your cost) or we can arrange for it to be picked up from you and delivered to us and then delivered back to you after the tune up is complete.Round trip freight for us to arrange will cost between $275.00 and 325.00 depending on where the transmission is being shipped from.

How long does it take?

This proceedure usually takes 10 days from the time we receive your transmission and also depends on how many are ahead of you.

Limited Slip Differential?

If you are considering adding a LSD unit now would be a great time to install the New Torque Bias Limited Slip Differential to your transmission.The additional cost for the LSD unit is $1395.00.

Notice!

This is a transmission tune up and does not cover a broken ring and pinion.
If your transmission needs a ring & pinion the following are the additional cost.
For the 944na and 944S with a 9:35 gear ratio the cost is an additional $795.00.
For the 944 Turbo and Turbo S with a 8:27 gear ratio the cost is an additional $1095.00
and for the 944S2 with a 8:31 ratio the cost is $1195.00.
For all you Turbo guys that want a little more quickness off the line , or out of the corners , you can also install the 8:31 ratio ring & pinion in your transmission for an additional $1195.00.

We have , over the years , rebuilt over 250 944 transmissions of various types -
we have both the tools AND the experiance to do it right.
Plus with our pick up / drop off service all you need to do is take it out - drain the fluid - and strap it to a pallett and call us . We will arrange to have it picked up by our carrier .
