Rear Seat Removal/Installation

First of all, you might want to remove the front seats, at least one of them so its easier to work on, held in by either 6 or 8 bolts. Now, the top piece is held in by two shoulder bolts on the pivoting point. The bottom is held in by maybe 8 clips from the hatch side of the car that should be CAREFULLY removed with a flat head screwdriver. Remove the seatbelts. The bottom of the seat is stitched to the piece of carpet the sits vertically (by where your calves would be if you were sitting in the seat). I guess they did that to cut down on the amount of dirt that gets between the crack there and to secure the bottom of the seat. Then, carefully pull the bottom of the seat up and towards you. It might be a little stiff because it is glued, just carefully use a putty knife to pry it up.

To install your new seats, simply get a can of 3M spray adhesive and reverse the process! Don't forget to follow the instructions on the can of spray to ensure the best seal and cure!
