Yes, if you go stock. No, if you decide to change to universal, buy anywhere, type hoses, as the fittings that Porsche uses are not common in the U.S.

When I finally got my car running again, I was so excited. I was packing everything up and readying my mind for the first drive in weeks and weeks.

Then I noticed a fuel injector was leaking.

I don't know if I would have done something as ignorant as driven it anyway, but because of things I've read on this forum I immediately shut the car off and now the injectors are at WitchHunter. I really wanted to drive it, but it wasn't even a consideration when I saw fuel.

Thank you guys for stuff like this.

Is there anything worth doing to reinforce fuel lines? Like tape or anything? Or would that just hide aging without protecting them?

Rubber Fuel Injection hose is rated around 300 psi, we run under 45 psi, so as long as the hose is in good condition, we're pretty safe. The Factory added heat protecting sleaves for the header overpass but that tended to dryout from the heat, áso I reinforced that concern with some Hi-Temp reflective sleaves from 'Flyboy's'.

Same thing happened to me. My noble PO had done injector seals and hats, they made it maybe 3000 miles. I was literally packing the car for a 500 mile trip. I decided to check my fluid levels and at one point I had the car running with the hood open and at least 3 of them were spewing fuel all over the head. Had I not had the car running, hood open I would have caught fire on that trip no doubt the "man upstairs" is a 944 fan or else he wouldn't have let me catch that! The friggin bodies were cracked and Ian had the LEAST EXPENSIVE set around.

FIXED IT!!! LOL, thanks Mr. B, you are absolutely correct. I haven't had a problem with them since and it's been 5000 fuel leak free miles!
