Yeah, the timing valve was not letting me make as much boost, nor floor it while cruising speeds.  It would make the car shudder and cut fuel for a second.  My 951 is a whole different beast now!

Ian: Can i just buy the hoses for the vacuum tree manifold?

I hope y'all don't mind me raising up a sleeping thread, but I'm trying to get my head around the venturi delete.
What was the venturi's original purpose?
It sure looks like the delete simplifies the system for a stock 951.
Thanks,
Jim

The Venturi system was put in the 951 because Porsche thought that with the turbo intake that the vacuum would become insufficient to keep the rest of the systems functioning properly.  It was found that the vacuum system was more than adequate and the Venturi was deleted.  Follow Texas Blakes how-to and get rid of the mess underneath the intake manifold.

After putting on my venturi delete I really want to do a boost controller to get rid of that broken plastic floating cycling valve Smiley
