This seems to be a quiet section. Any other 968 owners on this forum?

Hi WJH, I have a 1992, 968 Horizon Blue Cab. Love to drive it with the top down when the weather is warm. I have more luck on 968forum.com for any problems encountered on the 968.

Cheers,
Larry   Smiley

No, there are more then 2 968 members.  You can add me as another one.  I have been on this forum for a few years and my S2 was totaled the first part of this year.  So, I haven't been around here at all.  I bought another marquee to play with but a friend of mine told me I had to go look at this nice 968.  So I did and bought it.  I really wasn't looking to buy a 968 but this car was beautiful.  I am now back into Porsche ownership game.

The 968 section has always been a quite section on this forum.  If you want some questions asked you are better of posting them on the 944blog section.  Most of the members don't come down here but there are guys that can answer your needs on this forum.  We have some extremely knowledgeable guys when it comes to these cars.

Also if you need parts give Ian the first crack at your business.  He and his crew are stand up guys!!!!

I have posted a few pictures of my car in the 944blog section.

jws, me too! I wasn't looking for a 968 either, actually I was looking for a 951. My son saw the 968 on a local blog and talked me into going to see it.

They are a beautiful car.

I've just recently found this site. I've got a 1994 968. Had it for just over 10 years and put over 200K on it myself. Right now it's at 310K and just came in First in Class at our Concours D'Elegance here in Ontario.

Cheers,

Richard.

i monitor this site from time to time, just to see new members and such, but frankly, this isn't the place most people go for a lot of 968 information.  it's more a 944 site, as the name indicates.  good place for a 944 guy though.

I've got a 968, 1/2 of a 944, and a 951 that belongs to my son. I take care of all three so I hang out here and on that "other" forum you speak of!

lol - yeah - i watch them all, in varying degrees, for varying reasons.

this one is really tailored to the DIY 944 guy.  that has its own value in and of itself, and is often much easier to follow than a string of random threads that wander all over the place, like some sites have.
