Currently how the car is sitting:

Just need Doc Brown to get it to hover on its own Grin

Radio was installed by a friend who does it for a living. Wiring harness was HACKED up good. Its all fixed now.

Car has been insured and registered!

My concern currently is the ebrake. Trying to adjust it with a screwdriver beneath the caliper and the adjustment seems to be frozen. Calipers and Rotors have to come off then.

Also once the car was jacked up, turning wheel fully left to right, i hear gurgling and the power steering fluid if dripping from the passenger side. Just another thing to take care of!

----------------------------
Quick update status:

Ordered/Next up:
   - Chain tensioner pad replacement
   - Valve cover gasket
   - Oil/Oil filter
   - Spark plugs

Then next in line to order:
   - cap and rotor / Wires
   - Replace Dry rotted tires  - I am going with Falken Azenis AST 225/50/15 - $81 a tire.
   - Rear Driverside rubber on bumper falling off

   Then check/Replace/Remove:
   - E-brake not working
   - Plastic cap at end of trunk privacy cover broken, need to find replacement cap
   - Reverse lights not working
   - Remove Hood insulation (Its falling apart)

  Done:
  - Replaced fuel pump/Fuel filters/Cleared lines
  - Air filter
-SunRoof wind deflector hinge for passenger side since drivers side is discontinued
  - Window washer fluid spraying but only with a direct line from pump into reservoir (fixed)
   - Replace windshield wipers
   - Sunroof gear replacement
   - Trunk lock gasket
   - Front license plate holder
   - Replace head unit (Friend will be installing since the stock wiring is all hacked up) & Speakers
   - REGISTERED & INSURED!
   - Wires behind steering pump - One was removed already, i pulled the second one and they are taped and tied off.
    - transmission oil change

Had some spare time last night and banged out the trans oil change.

Not to difficult to do, having the right tools helps so much!

Next up i would love to do my chain pads, all the valve cover bolts are locked in good. Is it ok to use a hammer screwdriver with the 5mm hex on the end on the head studs or could i potentially strip the threads?

Since i got the rear speakers swapped last night successfully..

Next up i just ordered:
- Spark plug seals (got the valve cover seal already forgot to order these - this is to do the chain tensioner)

- interior cargo light (my interior one shattered and falls out of the hole)

Thanks Kev!

Does anyone know if there was a cover over the battery or was it exposed through the cowel to the elements?

I've always wondered if there was a battery cover too, never actually seen one.

I think there is one under the 944/1 parts area here but not sure if it fits all models.

Now next question. On my seat there are two controls front control works back one doesnt. Anyone able to tell me what each one does?

Thanks!

The one closest to the firewall raises and lowers the front of the seat bottom..

The other one raises and lowers the rear of the seat bottom.

I typically have the front all the way up, and rear all the way down
with the seat back adjusted for good arm position / distance on the wheel.

I'm 6 feet, 210 and that position gives me some support under my thighs..
Comfortable on a long drive..

Thanks!
Other things I bought that just arrived yesterday:
- dual sprung windshield wiper blade arms
- rear seat belts

Arriving next week: (ordered from Ian/Steve)
- power brake bleeder unit
- brake fluid
- valve cover gaskets (to do chain pads)
- interior light cover (broke my interior light checking the bulb)

I was also able to scrape off my old hood insulation. Easy to scratch off, glue is going to be a pregnant dog.

More to come this week!

Another thing recieved and fixed:
Driverside wiper blade was not able to push the blade down on the window, it would leave a streak across the center. Fix: 968 dual sprung wiper arms. FIXED the issue

Maybe some of you can shed light on these issues:

Ebrake cable bolt - having a hard time tightening it a bit to make the ebrake grab.
Ive tried to adjust the nuts behind the rotor but it seems like those might be locked it good. Maybe have to take the brakes and rotors off to clean it up back there and loosen that nut.

Brake light is on until car is moving: Bad?

Driver and passenger seat back pushing apart?
Can this be fixed?

What is this arrow in the RPM gauge for?

Thanks guys!

Arrow tells you when to upshift. Later discontinued, I always go by sound anyway, didn't need it.
