I have a track car..working more street-able for fun runs and back road carving.

currently no driver or passenger windows, thinking about a lexan or plexiglass windows that I could clamp in and out.  use them for colder weather.

anyone done this to date? or ideas on it?

Lexan.  Plexiglass loses clarity in the molding process, and lexan will hold it's shape.  Also, lexan is far more scratch resistant.  Personally, I'd install it permanently.  Why take it out?

Lexan = Polycarbonate (high impact) Jet fighter windows.

Plexiglass = Acrylic (brittle as glass). Good for the garbage can.

Plexiglass will shatter into spikes and stab you even if you just lean on it.
