Here's an older pic of my 85.5
Right now she's tucked away in her car cover with a blown clutch slave and weepy clutch master - new parts from Ian and Steve are on the workbench waiting for a break in the rainy weather...

Hello, it's been about 3 years since my last post.  My car has been sitting awhile.  I just lost interest in my little car.  So I had it repainted by a good friend that has a body shop.  It was tore down to bare metal and resprayed the original color and every piece of rubber and light cover including new rear taillights were replaced thanks to Steve and Ian.  It has a 968 rear spoiler and a Euro rear bumper.  I have a set of fixed headlights and a front splitter that I had on my Cab that I will install eventually.  The headlight buckets were made by a guy in Canada.  They are a perfect fit and the clear lens has the exact contour of the pop up covers.  He no longer makes them and when he told me that he wasn't going to make them anymore I had 2 sets of lens covers made.  You never know if you might have a mishap.

The interior was a light tan with dark blue accents.  I changed the color to black leather.  The dash, center console and seat covers are leather and were purchased from "Classic 9".  I can't say enough good things about that company.  They are like dealing with Ian.  You get what they say with NO hanky panky.  The carpet was installed by another friend of mine.  If you notice I took the back seat out and he sewed a custom piece for the back seat area and it looks better in person the what you see in the picture.  He also made the RS style door panels to go with the RS steering wheel.  I bought all the parts from Ian and I told my buddy what I wanted and he did it.  I was pleasantly surprised on how good they look.  They are also made in leather.  I bought some manual window cranks that I was going to use.  I was going to do that for weight savings, but the power units were very light and the savings wasn't going to be but just about 2 or 3 lbs.  So I nixed that ideal and just kept the power units.  I did take all the power BS that was part of the power sunroof and made it a manual sunroof.

I'm having problems downloading multiple photos.  So I will do them individually, Sorry!

For some reason it wont let me put more than one picture at a time.  So I am going to post each picture in its own.

Here is the first of 3 for the interior. If you notice the hand brake is still the original color.  I will change that, lol.
