Will any 7x15 and 8x15 Fuchs alloys fit a 944, or do they need to be a specific offset?  1987 944.

They have to have certain offsets. I believe different year 944s require different offsets. Unfortunately, I don’t know what’s what. Whether that is true with 911s, IDK. This project will be expensive because Herr Fuchs was an alchemist and time has turned them into gold.

In most cases it will bolt on. Maybe have to use a spacer.
Early cars are easy as you can just add spacers as needed.
Later cars usually bolt on w/o spacers.
I know boxter wheels will bolt on a later 944 easily.

I will add, there is alot of room under a 944 fender, so spacing is not that critical. you just need to be in the ball park..

87 944 and 911 fuchs are pretty different offsets. the 7" will probably barely fit. I would be concerned that you will have significant tire rub with the 8" on back

up through 86 944s, 7x15 and 8x15 fuchs fit very nicely. From 87 on they changed the offset quite a bit. The 7x16 and 8x18 late 97 turbo phone dials, 88 and 89 turboS 7x16 adn 9x16, and all 968 wheels fit well as do most 90s and up Porsche wheels until they just get too wide.
